6 months!

6 months! that sounds so much better than saying I am 25 weeks. I still feel like I have an eternity left though. I think this pregnancy has seemed so much longer than the others cause I have been sick pretty much the entire time. First it was the morning sickness with IV's and lots of shots, then I think I caught every flu bug that went around. I have had two UTI's now, and have had protein in my urine from almost the begining. The baby is fine though so i guess that is all that matters. I am just glad I get a great outcome of all of this sickness. Well here is my 6 month picture, it funny cause with Amber I was all good about doing 3 months, 6 months, and 9 monthes, bare belly and all. Then with Masen i did 6 months and 9 months bare belly, but I just can't seem to take a picture this time of my streach marked belly it is just not pretty at all. Oh and it dosen't help that I don't have the normal up and down streach marks mine go around my belly button so it is like I have a bulls eye. On another note, I have not been the only one to get sick my kids have also gotten everything they could possible get. The most resent is Masen got a mild case of the chicken pox, they were mostly on his arms with a few on his hads and one on his ear. It was totally random. There is not really a whole lot going on besides that. Nic is probably going back to school to get his Web design associates and I am not looking forward to school life again but it will all be worth it in the end I guess.

Christmas Morning

This is a late post but not to late. Christmas was so fun this year. Amber is finally to the age that she is so excited for santa to come. Masen didn't understand that part but loved that there were presents in the morning. We had to go down to St. George that smae week for another funeral for my Grandma Atkins and ended up no getting back til Christmas Eve so it was a mad rush on Christmas Eve to get the rest of the stuff ready. But all in all it turned out really good. One funny story of the morning, Amber does not like santa, so when i asked her if she wanted to go see if santa came to our house and brought presents, she looked at me and said" Do you think he is gone already?" She did not want to go out in the front room and chance Santa still being there.

Staying warm in the morning.

As a child I would wake up in the mornings and sit on the heater vents to star warm. Well Amber has caught on to that trick. The funny thing is, our front room is kind of small so our couch covers half of out heater vent so this is what I find in the mornings. Masen hasn't quite figured the whole getting under the couch thing yet, but he sits right infront of it.

We are so excited that we had our ultrasound today and found out we are having a BOY!!!!!

We are really excited to add another boy to the family. He is healthy and loves to move, he never stops. He is all boy and there was no doubt about it. He wanted everyone to know right away that he was a boy and not a girl so when the ultrasound tech put the thing on my belly he is sitting breach so the first thing we saw was the I am a boy shot. We are glad we decided to find out what we are having cause we would have know anyways. Amber was sad at first but know tells everyone "she is going to have another brother and she was very surprised it was a boy". HE will be named Jaxen Nicholas Christensen.

Happy late Thanksgiving!

It is late but Happy Thanksgiving!.. We had such a great Thanksgiving this year and I was so happy to beable to eat it and be pregnant at the same time. With my first 2 I was right at the begining of morning sickness and couldn't even look at the food. So I was so happy to eat lots of food like you are supose to on Thanksgiving. We went to my Grandma Fraughton's house this year and had a huge family meal together. I usually do the whole Black Friday thing but this year I opted out, it is just not as fun with no money and being in between pay checks we had none. So we ended up putting up pur christmas tree and decorations. Amber thought that was the best thing ever and now I need to get a advent calander or let her make one of those count down chains cause she thinks Santa is coming every night now. My pregnancy is so much better now and I am starting to gain weight nstead of loose and I haven't had to get a shot or and IV for a while now. YAY. We are suppose to find out on the 16th what we are having but I don't know if I can wait that long so I might call and move the appointment up, cause I am now 18 weeks and can find out anytime now. We were going to opt out of finding out this time being that we have one of each but Nic came to me and admitted that he just dosen't think he can wait that long, and I was all for the waiting til he put that idea in my head and now I can't wait to find out. So we will post when we find out!
