Fishing for Masen's 4th Birthday!

My little Masen has tuned 4!!! He had such a fun birthday! We decided we would go fishing since he loves it so much!!! We went up Spanish fork canyon to a little man made pond called Spanish oaks. We had some sandwiches and cake and ice cream and opened presents then fished for a couple hours. We actually went fishing the Sat. before his birthday since his birthday was on a Thursday this year and it is hard for Nic to miss school. All he wanted from anyone that asked him what he wanted he would respond a CASTLE. So me and Nic found him a really good deal on a way cool castle that is wood ( cause they are expensive)  and him and his brother and sister love it and play with it for hours a day TOGETHER!!! Grandma and Grandpa Fraughton and all the aunts and uncles on the Fraughton side :) got him some knight sets to go with his castle so there is penty to go around. He got some really cute i mean cool clothes from Jen and Jake and a sweet car from Clayt and Meghan. And lots and lots of other fun stuff from all his other friends that came to celebrate. Grandma and Grandpa Christensen and all teh aunts and uncles from that side got him a really fun wagon that they love to pull each other in.  One scary and memerable thing that happened at his party would be Laynee falling in the water!!! It was super scary! Since the pond is all cement once you hit the water line it is SUPER slippery!! well she slipped and couldn't get back out and started sliding out and panicked she is only 4, so Uncle Mike went to grab her but his boot hit the slippery part and he started sliding too well he ended up sliding in so far and couldn't get back out too so Nic and Clint ( laynee's dad) jumped in to help them cause Mike was struggling with his big boots all wet now they were really heavy well they end up having to have Clayton stand on the edge and pull Laynee in then they all had to help Mike get out and everything turned out good! Thank goodness! With all the drownings happening ( I think we are up to 9 in Utah) I was super scared!!! So it took 4 men to get one little girl out of a pond but I am glad they all got out ok!!!
