Coloring Easter Eggs...

So this year we went up to my Best Big sisters house :) to color easter eggs and to let the kids play a little! Amber had so much fun coloring eggs she wanted to keep coloring them after they had already been colored to see what funny color they would make. The boys had fun but once they were all colored they were back down stairs playing. Jaxen wanted to do it until I handed him the spoon and he tried to drink the dye and I wouldn't let him, then he was not happy with me and didn't want anything to do with it. By the time there was one egg left I finally MADE him color an egg. LOL silly kid. Cooper thought it was a grand time in his high chair eating his cheerios and being oh so cute for the camera! Oh and sorry about my shirtless daughter hahaha probably shouldn't even post them on here but I didn't want her to dye her shirt! LOL

Ward Party/Pinewood Derb

At the end of March our ward did the pinewood derby for our ward party. Masen thought it was the coolest thing ever to get to race a car. Since Nic is super busy with school and work he didn't have time to help him build his own car so Grandma Christensen had some old ones from previous years, and let him choose one to take and race. He chose one that looked like an eagle and had fun all night racing his eagle car. Hopefully next time him and Nic can make him his own car. There are no pictures of the other 2 kids cause Jaxen just didn't care and Amber was off with her friends being too social to care much too :)

DisneyLand!!

We had so much fun at Disneyland! The kids thought it was the best thing ever and wanted to go on all the rides that weren't scary! I think that was our fault cause the first ride we went on was the, Pirates of the Caribean. They hated it LOL! Amber was sitting with me and was huddled up to me asking if it was over yet over and over, and Masen and Jaxen both ended up on Nic's lap almost in tears and didn't want to look at anything at all. They were definaty happy when it was over and then were scared of any ride we went on that went in to the dark at all. They were even scared to get on Mr. Toads Wild ride! so not scary but we made them go on all the rides and once we got on them they were fine and relized it wasn't scary. Amber loved that she was big enough to go on the little roller coaster in Toon Town and though that was the best ride they had! yes she was to scared to go on anything else cause of the dark but loed the roller coaster kind of backwards :) She loved that she got to meet so many princesses and get their autographs in her little autograph book. Masen was so happy when we finally went on the Dumbo ride the last day we were there and wanted to go on it over and over again. I am not really sure what Jaxen's favorite ride was cause he is little and didn't really car I am sure if he would have been awake when we went on the train he would have loved it. He did love when we saw Mickey Mouse though! He loves loves loves him and was I think in shock when we saw him. After we left teh room he was in he just kept saying " Its Mouse, its mouse" over and over again like was that really him! IT was really cute! We mostly hung out in toon town and fairytale land where most the little kid rides were. Kim Nic's little sister took the kids for a while one night and me and nic went on one ride that was a big ride we would have gone on more but lines were so long and I couldn't stand for long periods of time. All in all we had lots of fun! The kids all got first time pins they wore all over the first day and a disneyland dollar. We had our stroller but also had the backpack leashes we put on all of the kids so if they decided they were done riding we wouldn't loose them! Even though I wouldn't suggest it to anyone to go to Disney Land teh day after surgery I am glad we went and it was a very nice and fun vacation.
